As the year comes to a close, we look back at some of the key highlights
Across the country and around the world, organisations of all shapes and sizes have faced many challenges over 2021, not the least of which is the pandemic which is still making itself felt. However although the year has undoubtedly had its share of ups and downs, we’d like to share with you some of the positives 2021 has brought us here at Univerus.
Version 7 – Mobility app goes live
The AssetFinda solution has had its own mobile solution for a number of years, but based on listening to our clients’ needs, we developed Unity Mobile v7, with significant extensions to its functionality and a new and modern interface:
It’s well and truly embedded now, and is being rolled out across our customer base with great success.
The Unity Mobile app is now available in all the major stores including Android, iOS and Windows.
Univerus going from strength to strength
Despite the challenges of 2021, we’ve seen rapid growth in both customers and staff. We welcomed nine new team members across NZ, Australia and in the UK. They bring a wide range of experience and expertise to the table, and it’s good to be growing our local support capabilities.
We’ve welcomed onboard a number of Councils across New Zealand and Australia, and new roading contract clients across European networks based in the UK.
Updated systems and processes
We’ve implemented new support and billing systems designed to streamline our workflows and processes, all of which enhance our customer experience. This kind of continual improvement is one of our core objectives at Univerus and looking ahead to 2022 will be no exception as we continue to innovate and find new ways to support and delight our customers.
Webinars
Given the challenges around engaging with customers due to Covid-19, we instituted a regular monthly webinar series talking about new product releases and regular updates that organisations can leverage within their existing product stack.
The series has been very well received to-date with great interaction from customers. If you would like to participate, please contact Natasha Urquhart in Australia or Maheen Mudannayake in New Zealand.
Shout-out to those Locked Down
2021 saw significant lockdown periods in both New Zealand and Australia as we continue to battle Covid-19. Several of our staff spent a significant portion of the year locked down, as did many of our customers. So we’d just like to take a moment to recognise how well you all came through what was a very difficult time.
All the new systems, staff and processes mean it’s been very much a transitional year for Univerus. But we’re always looking ahead, and what we’ve accomplished this year has set us up for what we hope will be an even more productive 2022. The new year will see new products coming to market, and a greater expansion of staff as we look to grow our international markets.
So from all of us here at Univerus, we’d like to thank you for your support and custom over 2021, and we’re looking forward to working with you again in 2022.
