Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our accounting functions for the Univerus organization and its affiliated business units.

Job Description:

What you'll do:

Manage AP approval process

Maintain expense claim policies, answer internal inquires and make adjustments to accounting codes and tax codes

Manage AR function - weekly AR report, monthly AR statement, AR reminders

Action reports for operating units

Financial integration of newly acquired business units

Maintain invoicing schedule and generate invoices according to schedule

Answer internal inquiries

Cheque deposit and reconciliation

All other related tasks

Role Details:

Reports to the Corporate Controller of Univerus Software Inc

Supports the entire Univerus accounting function

Work with the Corporate Controller to establish clear and concise corporate values

Assist with standardized financial reporting and operating procedures for Business Units

Identifies, monitors and reports on key financial operating metrics at the Business Unit and consolidated level

Report on and recommend changes that impact the targets for growth, profitability and working capital

Create and deliver necessary reports

Work with the Corporate Controller to ensure all required filings and regulatory reporting and taxation items are complete
