Working for the Software for Hardware Business Unit, the Sales Director will work with an intimate team providing unique software solutions to the door, frame, and hardware distribution industry. This Sales Director has the option to work remotely and will mostly require Eastern Standard Time (EST) business work hours, with an option for alternative time-zones to be considered for an exceptional candidate. Job Description:

As our new Sales Director at Software for Hardware (SFH), you will be responsible for both new business generation as well as selling additional products and services to our incredible customer base. In collaboration with SFH’s marketing and customer success efforts, the Sales Director will develop leads, conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospects and customers, and close business per agreed upon sales goals. This role will also help manage new and existing customer relationships and assist in maintaining a strong annual contract renewal rate. Sales calls will generally be conducted via Microsoft Teams and limited travel may be required (10%-25% maximum).

Major Responsibilities:

• Outbound proactive sales prospecting utilizing online tools and existing Prospect database

• Sell upgrades and cloud conversions to existing customers

• Lead demos of the software to customers and prospects

• Prepare sales proposals, quote, and submit sales contracts to customers

• Work with new and existing customers on custom development opportunities to increase revenue opportunities

• Find opportunities to cross sell products within the SFH and broader Univerus customer base

Job Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the B2B sales process

• Superb interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to quickly learn new software. Competency in Microsoft Office applications

• Self-motivated and able to stay on task without supervision.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience

• Post-secondary education preferred

• Software for Hardware or competitor product experience a plus

• Door & Hardware or other distribution division industry experience a plus

• Software sales experience a plus
