Coming soon: a significant game-changer in the NZ asset management industry
AssetFinda Customers will soon be able to implement a full, enterprise-wide Asset Management Solution
Last year, Waka Kotahi (NZTA) released the first version of the Roading Asset Management Data Standard (AMDS) using ontological modelling propelling land transport asset data into the future.
"The standard is one of the key tools to keep driving efficiencies into the system to maintain safety and resilience and the right level of maintenance and renewals. With networks getting bigger and more complicated, AMDS is one of the fundamental building blocks to do our job properly."
We're excited to announce that Univerus is currently fully implementing this new roading standard within our AssetFinda solution. This is a significant game-changer for the NZ asset management industry, because not only does it include the required reporting for funding applications, it means that there's no longer a need for a 'separate' asset management system within your organisation
The standard will prepare the foundations for the land transport sector to work towards a digital engineering and BIM (Building Information Modelling) approach. And for our AssetFinda users, they will soon be able to implement a full, enterprise-wide asset management solution.
If you needed another reason to attend the upcoming Univerus Conference in October, then here it is: we'll be showcasing the new standard and its implementation into AssetFinda - a great opportunity to see the new and improved asset management solution in action.
If you have any questions about the new Roading Standard, or you'd like to find out more about how it will benefit AssetFinda customers, don't hesitate to get in touch.
